Federal Financing Bank (FFB)

Established by Congress, it is authorized to acquire any obligation that is issued or guaranteed by a federal agency with the exception of the Federal Farm Credit System, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, and the Federal National Mortgage Association. This aids agencies in issuing obligations. The FFB borrows from the Treasury.
